Season/ Pre-season Commencement Dates

Our pre-season at Junction Oval will kick in from 24th August on Sunday 9-11am with Shaun Brown Cricket managing the program and International Coach, Simon Helmot attending a few of the sessions (booking link to follow soon).

We anticipate the season to commence on 3rd of October for both SECA and AGCC comps (stay tuned).

Our Junior and Master Blast programs are anticipated to commence on 11th October.
                                        

SOUTH MELBOURNE DISTRICT JUNIOR CRICKET CLUB

At South Melbourne District Junior Cricket Club we aim to create a positive and inclusive environment for girls and boys to make friends, develop skills and enjoy the great game of cricket.

Our players are asked to play fair and in the spirit of the game. We expect our players to respect their team-mates, coaches, opponents and umpires at all times. 

We currently have teams in the Rookies (U10), U12, U14, U16 and U18 South East Cricket Association (SECA) junior competition and an U14 team in the All Girls Cricket Competition (AGCC). SECA games are played on weekends and AGCC Games are played on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.

For our youngest cricketers, we host a Junior and Master Blasters program on Saturday mornings commencing October.

The SECA and AGCC junior cricket season will runs from October to March.
