Brendan Coburn steps up as Milo in2 Cricket Co-ordinator.
We are delighted that Brendan Coburn (father of twins Joel & Tom) is our Milo in2 Cricket Co-ordinator with specialist coaching from Sergio Carboni (father of Luca).
Brendan will be seeking assistance from other parents to work with him over the season.
Fantastic program set up for Milo Cricket
SMDSC MILO in2CRICKET will commence on Saturday 13th October 2012 at 9:00am, at Oval 11 (Lindsay Hassett Oval) in Albert Park at the Clarke Shields Pavilion. Sessions wll run every week but with a break over the Melbourne Cup Weekend.
The final week will be on Saturday 15th December 2012. Each Saturday will formally end at 10:30am, with an opportunity to stay for a social snag as we watch the Club House renovations and extension come to fruition. (Melway Reference: 2K H12)
The MILO in2CRICKET program offers girls and boys from kinder to 10 years of age the opportunity to kick start their cricket career, learn lots of new cricket skills like batting, bowling, catching and throwing, as well as social skills allowing them to make new friends and most importantly – HAVE FUN!!
NO WASHOUTS this season!
SMD’s exclusive indoor net facility in Shed 5 of the Pit Buildings will be used in the event of rain, so a full Milo season is guaranteed, regardless of the weather!!!
Who can get involved in Boy Free Zone?
All girls aged 5 years and over who are looking to get in2CRICKET for the first time. The equipment is modified to ensure everyone’s safety. The balls are soft and the bats are light, and most importantly, the lesson plans have been carefully developed to ensure that everyone gets a go!

The registration fee for each child is $75 which includes the fees payable to Cricket Australia, insurance and a terrific cricket pack. Registration and payment are now available online by clicking the big green button below.

If your son or daughter has played for a few seasons and does not need another pack, you will have the option to…
register with NO PACK for just $40 for the season.
What a bargain!!
Participation by parents/guardians is a required part of membership. Every age group must have a minimum of two coaches each week and larger age groups may need more. We will also need one coach to open and close the clubhouse each week. Thank you for your assistance and involvement.
