Junior Cricket
The SMD Junior Cricket philosophy and emphasis is to build on the skills, enjoyment and camaraderie that develop through our children’s cricket years at South Melbourne. We work toward an enjoyable and rewarding season for all – every season.
In a generous new initiative to help the Club reach its fundraising target, Directors and Major Sponsors, John Holdsworth and Greg Hocking of Greg Hocking Holdsworth Real Estate in Albert Park, have announced they will donate to the Club 10% of every commission earned on sales of homes of SMDSC families and friends.

TRAINING NIGHTS 2012/13:
U16a & b: 5-6.30pm Mondays
U14a & b: 5-6.30pm Wednesdays
U14c: 5-6.30pm Mondays
U12a: 5-6.30pm Wednesdays
U12b & c: 5-6.30pm Tuesdays
U12d: 5-6.30pm Thursdays
In wet weather training moves to the indoor practice nets in the Pit Lane building. (No communication is issued)

Start and finish times:
U14 & u16’s – Fridays, 4pm for 4.30pm start. Games finish by 8pm
U12’s – Saturdays, 7.45am for an 8.15am start. Games finish by 12noon
– SMDSC Junior Cricket plays in the CMCA [City of Moorabbin Cricket Association] competition (http://cmca.vic.cricket.com.au/). In cases of extremely bad weather conditions CMCA may elect to cancel all play – and will post a notice accordingly on their website
