Wondwosen Geleta was once again our top runner in the Marathon, finishing in 4th place and second Australian, just as he did last year. As first Victorian finisher, he becomes the Victorian marathon champion. Congratulations, Wondy.
Andrea Hopkin was our first female finisher in 3.03.35, a big 14 minute pb.
In the half marathon, our temporary member and former Olympic champion Reuben Kosgei came a close second in 63 minutes 43.
Well done also to Jacob Gifty for 6th place and 17.05 in the 5 km race.
